Auktionshaus Michael Zeller, Lindau, DE has listed this beautifully executed male nude in their current auction catalog. Vratislav Nechleba (1885-1965) studied at the Prague Academy and took several study trips to Italy and Germany. From 1918 on he assumed a position as professor of art instruction at the Prague Academy. This beautiful work is signed and dated "1905."
