19th Century English School - Male Nude Study

This oils on prepared artist hardboard study of a standing male nude is one of two 19th Century Academic Nudes from an English School I have in my collection. It is not the most technically adept work but it is a nice example of early to mid-19th Century technique from other than a well known Continental Academie. Close examination does indicate some interesting brush work.
