Yesterday I paid a visit to the Galerie Saxonia website. The Galerie is a family owned business in Munich that specializes in works on paper, paintings, and sculpture. Their main emphasis is antique works on paper from the 16th to the 20th centuries though. The owner, Frank Kempe has been a professional art dealer since 1964 and speaks fluent English for those of you who might want to frequent his shop, both on line and in person. He is very knowledgeable and loves his work. His collection of artworks is expansive and comprehensive. Yesterday I went through the on-line collection and culled out the nude works that I thought fit the emphasis of my blog and that you might enjoy. If you are interested in collecting works on paper, I highly recommend the Galerie Saxonia as a place to start. (
