An art dealer in Berlin recently posted three drawings by Carl Adams (?), of which I managed to buy two of the three, both seated male nudes. Unfortunately, I have not had time to research the artist fully, so I have no biographic information to share with you now but the works I believe speak for themselves and for the artist's wonderful talent. I have been juggling another purchase on the side requiring more monetary funding and only had a few farthings to spare so I concentrated on two of the three listed drawings. After the auction ended I discovered that I could have taken the third drawing with very little effort. Such is the way of the force. Go figure. Here (directly below) are the two drawings which will be coming into my collection shortly and the last drawing of the three will be headed elsewhere. Enjoy.

Addendum: (March 25. 2014) The seller also added a few additional Adams drawings he had in his inventory this morning. To my eye the really interesting thing about the partially finished drawings is that you can readily see the initial laying down of the figure drawing and also the progressive refinement of the drawing as the artist moves beyond that basic line drawing to a more refined dimensional drawing . Enjoy:
