This beautifully executed academic study of a standing male nude popped up on eBay France this morning. According to the description the seller attributes the canvas to Louis Anquetin (1861-1932) but "without any guarantee." What really interests my eye is that extended unfinished right hand. You can readily see the under drawing on which paints have yet to be applied. Enjoy.
