Simon Thomassin (1654-1733): 18th Century Copper Plate Engravings

A seller on eBay France has recently posted a series of antique copper plate engravings by the famous 18th century French engraver Simon Thomassin (1654-1733) of the garden statues at the Palace of Versailles. Thomassin was at one time the engraver to the King and a member of the Academie Royale de Peinture et Sculpture.
