18th -19th Century Sanguine Drawing - Nude Female

 

This is a rare bird indeed, which is currently listed on one of the European eBay sites. The greater majority of these sanguine drawings are actually "chalk manner" prints but in this case is an original 18th-19th century sanguine chalk drawing. The subject matter, a female nude, is in the "rare bird" category for the time period.
