I am happy to report that the two Hans Thoma prints (Der Verlorene Sohn - 1919 and Pan - 1893) have returned from the Paper Restoration Conservationist in much better shape. The original paper color on both prints is a nice cream color and all that dark stain from non-archieval materials has been removed. I will have to mat and frame them now for display. Forgive my photography but it does not do them justice.
