Franz Karl Renner (1886-1967) Nude Boy

Franz Karl Renner (1886-1967) was a renowned Austrian artist, born in Bohemia, present day Czech Republic. He was a pupil of the famous artist Koloman Moser (1868-1918) at the Vienna School of Applied Arts. He specialized in landscape, genre paintings, illustrations, poster, and book designs. He was a professor at the Graphic School in Vienna for many years. This nice little drawing came into my collection several years ago from Vienna. The artist has done an admirable job with the foreshortening on the upper legs.
