Rudolf Kuchler (1867 - ?) Bronze : Der Fechter - The Fencer ... ca. 1900

I found this beautiful bronze of a fencer on one of the European eBay sites yesterday. Rudolf Kuchler (1867-?) was a famous Austrian sculptor who produced some very beautiful works during the late 19th and early 20th centuries. Unfortunately I could not find much biographical information on him other than a short description of his major works. He specialized in portrait busts and statuettes. His chief work was the monument at Halle, Germany to the German Emperors William I and Frederick I.
