Kunstauktionen Dr. Lehr, Berlin has recently listed this beautiful study of a nude boy by Georg Gelbke (1882-1947) in their latest auction catalog. Gelbke began his studies in 1901 at the Dresden Academy of Fine Arts. He was based mostly in Dresden during his lifetime but did extensive travel to the Baltic coast, sketching and painting.
