Francois Xavier Bicard (French School) (1880-1933) : Nude Boy Sitting on the Floor Reading

A European seller has recently listed a well executed study of a nude boy sitting on the floor by Francois Xavier Bicard (French School) (1880-1933). Beautiful quality brushwork, superb flesh tones with excellent figural detail (see the hands and feet) in this sensitive study. Unfortunately I could find scant little biographical information but the technique alone speaks for his expertise. Enjoy
